EOE Responsibilities: The Occupancy Specialist is responsible for managing housing applications and determining eligibility for residency, managing recertification process in accordance with HUD requirements and for performing annual inspections of apartments. This position also assists with billing functions and other administrative duties as assigned. Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two (2) to Four (4) years of administrative or office support experience.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of HUD subsidy program preferred.
- Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office applications. Demonstrated knowledge of computer software applications, such as desktop publishing, project management, spreadsheets, and database management.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects, and deadlines simultaneously and to identify and resolve exceptions and to interpret data.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Demonstrated compatibility with the PHS mission and operating philosophies.
- Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.
