Entry level opening for trade show representative available with local home improvement company. Candidate will attend various home improvement and building/architectural tradeshows throughout the metro area; will be responsible for setting up and tearing down booth, representing company with professionalism and excellent service, and scheduling consultations. Candidate will actively engage audience at the trade shows; performing demos, answering questions and scheduling appointments. Weekends-only (Friday - Sunday) for 16-20 hours/week. Potential for qualified/interested candidate to add responsibilities and increase hours. Compensation will include hourly wage, plus bonus incentive for each consultation appointment scheduled.
Requirements: Qualified candidates will be friendly and outgoing, with excellent sales ability and an interest in the home improvement/remodeling industry. High energy and enthusiasm are a must! Candidates should have previous experience in high customer contact roles (retail, restaurant, hospitality, etc.). Candidates should be comfortable standing for long periods, and bending, stretching and lifting tradeshow products and materials, including equipment for booth set-up and demos.
