Our client in Zimmerman, MN is looking for a Production Supervisor to join their team on the 3rd shift! This person will be working beside the manager to direct and instruct employees to ensure efficient production and utilization of resources.
Duties:
· Prepare daily work assignment schedules
· Track attendance and daily activities
· Supervise the efficiency, accuracy and completion of scheduled tasks
· Set up special projects to utilize labor and materials efficiently
· Ensure products are available and communicate with line personnel and EOL
· Perform multiple audits on a daily basis
· Discuss line safety, responsibilities and procedures with line personnel
· Inspect line equipment for usual wear, vibrations, heat, and oil leaks
· Ensure proper set up and clean up of lines
· Assist the Production Scheduler in creating lead schedules
Qualifications:
· 2 year degree or technical post secondary education, with 1-3 years of relevant work experience in a supervisory/leadership role, or equivalent combination of education and experience
· Ability to occasionally lift/move 50 pounds and tolerate 90 degree heat
