Job Description:
Humera is seeking a Digital Marketing & Design Manager for our client, the state's largest and premier business advocacy organization. Our client strives towards working together to make Minnesota the best place for business and needs someone to help them continue on with that mission. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all brand communications through digital channels, setting up, promoting and executing a vision online through integrated campaigns, developing brand presence, tracking online and delivering brand essence.
  • Responsible for delivering the digital brand objectives
  • Create, implement and oversee print, email and web visual communications that effectively describe and promote the organization, its events and services
  • Support external communications efforts of the organization and its affiliates
  • Execute communication plans to increase page views, unique visitors, view time and site ‘stickiness' to encourage repeat usage
  • Manage the use of social media to support the organization's mission and vision and service offerings
  • Manage all digital broadcasts to support the overall communications plan
  • Create & publish social media content based on weekly social media editorial calendar
  • Ensure digital strategy is incorporated in printed communication pieces. (i.e. QR codes, tracking URLS, other website traffic drivers)
  • Monitor Monthly reporting
    • Campaigns
    • Web Statistics
    • Social media reach
  • Update contacts in HubSpot database Bi-monthly
  • Work with sales team to compose and send automated campaigns to generate sales leads
  • Print design
    • Conceptualize, design, and produce promotional materials such as flyers, ads, brochures, logos, signage, newsletters, collateral, PPT presentations, and event invitations in accordance with brand identity and style guidelines
    • Design and produce print-ready art including graphs, charts, clip art, posters, digitization of graphics, line-art, and/or photos
    • Coordinate the printing production process to ensure quality: write printing and other reproduction specifications (selection of ink, paper, and print quality); inspect proofs for accuracy; recommend contractors or vendors (printers, letter shops, designers and developers)
  • Interactive design
    • Create enhancements and modifications to the web: organize and maintain the current websites for the Chamber, Waste Wise, Energy Smart, PAC and MCCE their program interactive design needs
    • Conceptualize, design and produce email marketing and any HTML templates
  • Work with all departments of the organization: understand key messages and information to be represented in external communications

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, design or a related field
  • 3 to 5 years of communications and design experience
  • Proficiency in design applications including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, Dreamweaver and Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of HTML, ColdFusion, Wordpress, Drupal, FTP and web publishing tools
  • Knowledge of writing for the Web and experience in developing and maintaining several websites
  • Up to speed on the latest communication technology tools
  • Background and passion for digital communication and its technology, including social media channels - Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Flickr, etc
  • Ability to communicate internally with staff on concepts, projects, and timelines
  • Ability to work under pressure on multiple projects with competing deadlines
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships throughout all levels of the organization
