RN - Peds Hem/Onc*

All (infant to age 18) pediatric patients requiring non-intensive care including specialty populations of pediatric hematololgy/oncology, GI, and trauma. Also care for general medical/surgical patients including: general pediatric and general surgery, ENT and neurosurgery. Bed capacity: 23. Provides care to pediatric hematology-oncology, blood and marrow and solid organ (liver, pancreas, bowel) transplant, trauma, metabolic, orthopedic, ENT, neurosurgical, gastrointestinal, and general medical surgical patients and their families. Manages complex medication and infusion therapies. Performs advanced monitoring using current technology. Care for patient undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures/interventions on the unit. Demonstrates ability to safely and accurately operate unit equipment.   

MN RN licensure; BLS required. A minimum of one year current pediatric RN experience in a hospital based pediatric unit is required. AD; BSN preferred. Certification in a pediatric clinical specialty is highly desired. Estended orientation may be offered.
