Pharmacy Phone Technician-FSSP

Fairview Specialty Services Pharmacy has an exciting opportunity to work in a unique pharmacy setting in the Specialty call center.

Ensure a high level of customer service through speaking with customers on inbound and outbound calls and providing solutions that offer a high level of service. Provide superior customer service via phone and occasional direct patient contact, assist in preparing and dispensing medications and supplies, receive patient prescriptions, review medication list with patient, answer phones and triage patient phone calls to pharmacist as necessary, and help maintain the pharmacy in proper order. Ensure high level of customer service and teamwork to provide optimal service. The schedule is Monday - Friday and does not require weekends or holidays. 

Minimum Education: High School Diploma/G.E.D.

Preferred Education Graduate of Pharmacy Technician Course

Minimum License/Certification/Registration: Registered with MN Board of Pharmacy (or pending registration)

Preferred License/Certification/Registration: National Certified Pharmacy Technician; Fairview certified pharmacy technician.

Minimum Experience
One year customer service experience.

Preferred Experience
One to Three years - Retail and/or pharmacy experience. One to three years experience in a call center.
Computer and 10-key experience.   

*All job applicants must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test within 48 hours of receiving a conditional offer of employment.
