FT Clinical Data Analyst-Quality
This position actively participates in the design and optimization of the clinical information system. This position will work with clinical reporting tools, databases, and dashboards. This role will collect clinical data, create extract data sets for database uploads, perform data analysis, and represent data in an optimal manner for a clinical audience. This role will also facilitate the understanding and use of data to optimize clinical processes in order to enhance clinical outcomes. This position requires an in-depth understanding of clinical measures [Meaningful Use (MU), Minnesota Community Measurement (MNCM), Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS), Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS)], coding systems (ICD-9 and CPT), medical terminology, clinical operations, and regulations.

 Include having at least 3 years of clinical data management experience. Excellent computer skills including but not limited to relational database & spreadsheet setups/maintenance, SQL experience, and hands-on experience with data mining/modeling. Sound knowledge of all relevant federal and state regulations, strong knowledge in medical terminology and proficient with application of statistical methods is all needed. Experience in designing clinical reports and dashboards, having the ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing; ability to relate correct information and ability to handle difficult, stressful situations in a professional manner are also required.
