Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN is seeking a clinical pharmacist working in Nuclear Medicine responsible for the daily preparation, dispensing, ordering and quality control of radiopharmaceuticals.  Receive direction from Director of Nuclear Pharmacy, Nuclear Medicine Physicians, and Director of Pharmacy Services, as well as give direction to certified nuclear medicine technologists (or nuclear pharmacy technicians) and pharmacy interns. 

Applicant must be eligible to be licensed as a Nuclear Pharmacist in the State of Minnesota (please refer to Minnesota Pharmacy Board Rule 6800.8400 – “Pharmacists Handling Radiopharmaceuticals”), as well as able to become an “Authorized Nuclear Pharmacist” by Mayo Clinic Radiation Safety Committee and certified by the Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties in Nuclear Pharmacy within 24 months of employment.  Minimum of one year experience as a licensed Nuclear Pharmacist, Board Certified Nuclear Pharmacist (BCNP) with a proven history of establishing and maintaining a progressive clinical pharmacy practice in area of specialty, is preferred.  In addition, experience in pharmacotherapy and pharmacy practice research, participation in scholarly activities including publication and scientific meeting presentation, clinical teach experience and expense management initiatives.
