WestHealth is conveniently located on the Northeast corner of Hwy 55 and 494 in Plymouth, Minn.

Our convenient services include on-site urgent care, a same-day surgery center, imaging (X-ray) services, a lab, pharmacy and more than 50 family and specialty physician clinics.
This position is responsible for triage, evaluation, care, and monitoring of both emergency and urgent care patients in a freestanding facility. Unit Supervisor functions as a supervisor in the clinical setting, above the scheduled staffing pattern, as a resource, educational support, communication liaison, and role model of professional nursing practice. The Unit Supervisor assumes responsibility for day to day operations and clinical coordination of the unit. Participates in planning, implementing, coordinating, and evaluating patient care activities, staff education, and management activities as delegated by the Patient Care Manager (PCM). General patient care, charge and triage duties in emergency department, and urgent care.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Board certified RN
- CEN encouraged
- 1 year experience working in emergency/urgent care
- Previous experience in unit charge or supervisory preferred
- Medical Terminology
- High level interpersonal skills
- Ability to mutli-task in a fast paced environment
- Ability to lead meetings, orient, and work with new staff
RN hires with less than 1 year of RN experience must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing (American Association of Colleges of Nursing or The National League for Nursing) which is inclusive of a clinical rotation in an acute care facility.
