Top Career Solutions has teamed with a leading manufacturer in Southern Minnesota to hire a Sales Manager. This person will be in charge of selling products to various Agriculture implement dealers, OEM production facilities, and feed/livestock yards. This is a Direct Hire opportunity, and while there is 40% travel the person is expected to base out of the facility in Minnesota.
Duties:
· Maintain existing client accounts with dealers and OEM facilities
· Establish new sales acccounts by visiting trade shows and customer referrals
· Create promotional ideas, rebate programs, and discounts to facilitate sales
· Build customer relationships to establish their needs and increase sales
· Maintain customer lists and contact information in database
· Use awareness of competition and marketplace (pricing, new technologies, and customer needs), to help with the overall business and promotional strategy
· Travel approximately 40% of the time, managing accounts in North America
Requirements:
· Background or strong knowledge of Agriculture industry is required, Sales for Electronics manufacturer can be substitured
· 5+ years experience in Sales and Account Management
Degree in Business Management or similar is a plus
