Position Summary

The Clinical Research Manager will provide guidance and direction for the clinical research staff, particularly the nursing staff, along with the director of clinical research. In line with the goals of the Park Nicollet Institute, the Manager will 1) manage or oversee the management of several research projects per year, 2) provide leadership for the continuing professional development of the clinical research nursing staff, and 3) assist in reviewing, selecting and securing studies that are appropriate to our mission and that will generate new knowledge. Must have or maintain a current MN Registered Nurse (RN) license or other applicable certification/licensure in appropriate discipline. Master’s degree preferred. Five or more years of clinical experience, with at least two years of direct supervision and clinical research experience. Demonstrated leadership, problem solving skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, and management skills. Must possess the ability to manage multiple projects and resources. Familiarity with institutional and federal regulations governing the conduct of research involving patient participants. Must demonstrate skill in CPR. CPR certification may be required based upon department and job specific needs.
