Position Summary

Interfaces with patients, insurance carriers, internal medical department personnel, external medical providers, and social service agencies by phone, mail, or occasionally in person regarding their concerns relating to billing, insurance, and/or credit. Interfaces with patients regarding concerns/complaints in order to promote timely and efficient reimbursement. Focuses on account action requests generated by a CSR – Levels 1 and 2 to see that customer concerns and issues are resolved in a timely and accurate manner. Ensures that more difficult audit and customer complaint issues are addressed in accordance with PNHS policies and procedures while assisting the unit Team Leader. High school diploma and one to two years related work experience. Accurate typing of 40 wpm. Prior PC and CRT experience required. At least 12 months of experience in a PNHS Coordinator, Customer Service – Level 1 or 2 position. Not currently in a performance development program.
