Pre-Authorization & Referral Representative

The Pre-authorization and referral staff verifies insurance on-line and via phone with insurers, obtain referrals and authorizations for Rehab patients as outlined by each individual insurance.  The Pre-authorization and referral staff is responsible for tracking/correcting all pertinent insurance information into Epic.  They are responsible for providing the most accurate data as it pertains to receiving services for Rehab Services.

 

This position will be working from location:  711 Kasota Ave SE, Minneapolis, MN  


Qualifications

Minimum Education

High School Diploma/G.E.D. 

Preferred Education

Vocational/Technical Training or Associate Degree 

Preferred Experience

One + years

Knowledge of third party payers.

Knowledge of medical terminology.
