Job Description:
Humera is looking for a RNs for Telehealth Triage Nursing roles at a large medical center and hospital located in Minneapolis. The ideal candidate would need to be able to work a flexible schedule.
Responsibilities:
  • Consulting with patients or their caregivers over the phone, to assess the severity of symptoms and refer to the appropriate setting or level of care
  • Alleviating suffering through nursing interventions and prescribed treatments
  • Partnering with the patient, their family and significant others
  • Documenting interventions and an individualized plan of care
  • Educating the patient and their caregivers on their disease process
  • Assuring continuity of care Educating the patient and caregivers in prevention care which promotes health and well-being

  • Requirements:
    • Current RN Licensure in Minnesota
    • Compassionate, caring and customer service oriented
    • Current BCLS certification
    • Minimum of 2 years nursing experience in clinical nursing
    • One + year of triage preferred
    • Typing skills, 45 w.p.m. and good computer skills
    • EPIC experience preferred
    • Experience in Family Medicine including: Pediatrics, OBGYN, Geriatrics, etc preferred
    Required Skill Sets
    • Evaluate and assess patient health needs, relative to acuity level
    • Advise patients about health maintenance guidelines
    • Prioritize the urgency and action needed to address the patient's request or problem
    • Refer patients for additional health services based on their needs
    • Recognize medical emergencies and initiate immediate action
