We are a fast-paced and growing forwarder that specializes in the agricultural industry. We have an exciting opportunity for an Airfreight/Logistics Specialist to join our team in Princeton, MN (Northern Sherburne County).
Tasks and accountablities: *Completes coordination between all applicable parties for Airfreight shipments. *Ensures service commitments are achieved and maintained in accordance with client and company objectives. *Prepares price quotations on inbound/outbound international freight. *Prepare, route and cut airbills and manifests. *Arrange for pick up and movement of freight to gateways. *Provides customers with advice concerning terms of delivery, payment, insurance and all other Airfreight services affecting client needs. *Ensures invoicing of rendered services is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
1 - 3 years Airfreight/Logistics operations experience, High School diploma or GED
Knowledge of general freight forwarding terms and standards
Understanding of US Automated Freight System (AES)
Familiarity of TSA procedures and basic Airfreight knowledge - import and export
Ability to work with demanding deadlines in a high-pressure environment
Spanish speaking a plus
