Quality Management Director

The Clinical Quality Management Director directs the development, implementation, and evaluation of UCare’s member-focused clinical quality improvement programs. Provides analysis of HEDIS, CAHPS, and other health plan performance reports. Directs clinical initiatives to improve health outcomes for health plan members and ensures that UCare’s quality programs meet or exceed requirements set by regulatory agencies including the Minnesota Department of Health, Minnesota Department of Human Services, and the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services. Provides oversight for member complaint/appeals process. 

 

Qualifications:

·  Minimum of four years managerial experience, preferably in a health care quality program setting.

·  Must have strong analytical skills and considerable experience with statistics and research methodology.

·  Knowledge of Medicare and State Health Programs is essential as are strong leadership and collaboration skills.

·  A bachelor’s degree in nursing, clinical social work or other health-care related field is required; Masters degree preferred.
