Room & Board is an innovative retailer of contemporary home furnishings. We are currently searching a Delivery Associate to join our Golden Valley team.
Our Delivery Associates ensure that Room & Board customers receive exceptional service during their in-home furniture delivery and take pride in being the best on their field. They understand they are a critical link in the sales process and solidify the customer’s relationship with our company. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Load customer product onto the delivery truck and deliver to customer’s home with care
- Provide product information as well as care and maintenance information to our customers
- Through the use of technology you will manage and complete a variety of reports including truck inspection log, delivery output paperwork, etc.
Our most successful Delivery Associates are physically active, enjoy our product line and possess strong communication and problem solving skills. They truly enjoy customer interaction and take a professional, team-focused approach to their work. We welcome candidates that do not have direct furniture delivery experience, and have found that individuals working in the personal fitness field or in the public safety arena can make a successful transition into this role.
To best serve our customers our Delivery Associates must be available to work a Tuesday through Saturday schedule. Delivery Associates must also be able to successfully complete a pre-employment screening including a pre-employment physical, DOT drug screening, and driving background check.
