Responsibilities
- Effectively obtain patient concerns, presenting complaint and symptoms in sufficient detail and accuracy to allow appropriate evaluation, classification, advice and disposition of the patient request using appropriate protocols
- Documenting all triage calls
- May perform Rx refills
- Scheduling appointments using quick process
- Some hours in Podiatry will be included in this position
Qualifications
Education/Experience
- RN with current MN license
- 3-5 years nursing experience in medical surgery, ambulatory or an appropriate specialty area and 1 year of triage
- Computer and keyboard familiarity necessary
- Experience in an ambulatory care setting preferred
- Medical terminology
- BLS
Skills
- Ability to handle fluctuating volume of calls, problem solving, organization, exercise judgement while providing excellent customer service
- Assess and respond to various patient needs quickly and efficiently

- 20 hours/week

- No weekends
- Non-contract
RN hires with less than 1 year of RN experience must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing (American Association of Colleges of Nursing or The National League for Nursing) which is inclusive of a clinical rotation in an acute care facility.
