The purpose of this position is to ensure the safety of individuals with mental illness and/or developmental disabilities. The Overnight Response Specialist will achieve this in some or all of the following:

 -Patrol assigned route to ensure safety of consumers

- Provides therapeutic/crisis intervention

- Provide emergency response to a variety of situations

- Responds to calls for service

- Medication administration

- Bed checks on consumers

- Assisting consumers getting up, ready for work, etc. 

Additional duties of Response Specialist are:

- Thorough and accurate documentation

- Modeling appropriate behavior at all times

- Calling in to the Awake Check-in line

- Perform additional duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

- Result oriented with ability to follow through, make informed decisions, complete tasks and problem-solve

- Eligibility to work in the United States

- Valid Driver's license

- Clean Driving Record

- Insured, reliable vehicle for use at each shift

- Background clearance as required by BCA and DHS

- CPR/First Aid Certification

- Bachelor's Degree and experience in the field are highly recommended 

* Schedule will be overnights from 10pm-8am.
