Top Career Solutions has teamed with a leading manufacturing company to hire a Research and Development Chemical Engineer. This person will design and test new concepts to improve performance and product lifetime. This is a full time, direct hire opportunity.
Duties:
· Design, test, and evaluate new chemical sealant concepts
· Perform accelerated aging testing to predict product lifetime
· Coordinate testing with outside companies for a joint benefit
· Provide support to manufacturing when issues arise
· Provide support to customers regarding product questions
· Evaluate new product ideas to determine feasibility and performance
· Assess compatibility of new products with current components
Requirements:
· 3-15 years experience as Chemical Engineer
· Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering
· Knowledge of Sealant and/or Adhesive Formulation
· Knowledge of Sealant and/or Adhesive testing methods
· Experience in SPC or basic engineering statistics
