Lake Region Medical, a first generation medical device manufacturer and world’s leader in guide-wire devices, is growing its Maintenance department.
Job Summary:
Under direct supervision this position will assist Maintenance personnel in preventive maintenance and machine maintenance.
Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities:
Employees are expected to support the quality concepts inherent in the business philosophies of Lake Region Manufacturing, Inc., including a variety of job related tasks which may not be specific to this position profile.
Accountabilities include:
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment
• Repair basic mechanical problems with production equipment
• Assist maintenance mechanics with equipment
• Clean up of disassembled machinery
• Shovel snow and other outside duties
• Help with the moving of equipment
• Must play an active role as a member of the Spill Response Team
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
• High School degree, or equivalent
• Must have physical ability to do lifting, ladder climbing, and moving full barrels of liquid
• Will be required to change hours, work overtime, weekends, and some evenings
• Previous maintenance experience preferred
• Will be required to work in confidential areas with confidential information
