Position Summary Information Position Responsibilities

The Department of Nursing invites applicants for a full-time, tenure-track, faculty position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor in the graduate program beginning in August 2013. Rank and salary commensurate with education and experience.

Responsibilities: Teaching students in the classroom and laboratory/clinical settings, and engaging in scholarship and service per University guidelines.

Position Qualifications

PhD or PhD completed by August 2013, Master's degree or PhD in nursing, teaching experience in an academic setting and eligibility for RN licensure in the State of Minnesota are required. Content expertise in one or more of the following areas: research, organizational systems, informatics, advanced pathophysiology, health policy, and genetics or genomics is required. Previous experience teaching at the graduate level, commitment to collaborative engagement with student advisees, and commitment to collaborative research with faculty and graduate students are preferred.
