Job Description:
Humera is looking to fill a direct hire Customer Service Representative position with a surgical instrumentation design and manufacturing company located in St. Paul. In the role of the Customer Service Representative, you will assist customers over the phone by taking orders and fielding questions or concerns in a professional and courteous manner. This is a direct hire opportunity.
Responsibilities:
  • Answer Customer Service telephone calls in a timely, courteous and professional manner
  • Take orders, field questions or concerts or direct call to appropriate parties
  • Act as a liaison between customers, sales representatives, and internal departments
  • Assist in resolving problems on orders in accordance with company polices and procedures. Requires understanding policies, using resources, and providing professional response to customers
  • Enter and process orders and invoices through the computer system
  • Ensure that orders are accurate and correctly directed to the Shipping or Instrument department
  • Enter, print, match, and mail invoices, releases, and credits accurately
  • Organize customer files while entering new customer accounts per work instruction
  • Match up and accurately process returns and credits daily
  • Handle international accounts by preparing proper international documents in accordance with Department of Commerce and U.S. Customers requirements
  • Perform other duties as necessary

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
  • High school diploma
  • 4+ years of previous customer service experience
  • 2+ years of international experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of international exporting procedures and documentation
  • Foreign language desired
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated organizational skills with a strong aptitude for detail, ability to handle multiple tasks, and stay organized
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Must have previous computerized order entry skills
  • Proficient with web based shipping documentation
  • Previous experience supervising work tasks desired
  • Computer data entry experience
  • Ability to answer multiple phone lines
  • Strong figure aptitude
