Strom Engineering is seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer. Job duties include: Developing and analyzing data from multiple sources to determine design feasibility and/or application; Design products or systems such as re-winders, slitters or web handling equipment requiring mechanical, thermal and/or hydraulic system design; Lead engineering teams in the fabrication process; Evaluate, develop and implement continuous improvement product changes; Maintain an inventory of product line parts. Requirements: B.S. engineering degree or equivalent combination of experience, training and education; Strong mathematical and evaluative abilities; Excellent verbal and written communications skills; PC Proficient; AutoCAD and Solidworks knowledge, a plus; supervisory experience a plus.
