Strom Engineering is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer/Lead who can supervise and train other CNC Machinists. Job responsibilities include: Developing programs and generating set-up information for CNC machine tools; Set-up, operate and verify the quality of work on a wide variety of CNC Mills/Turning machining centers; Work closely with CNC personnel to minimize debug requirements and ensure accurate programs and tooling sheets; Performs complex set-ups as needed; Work from drawings and specs; Trouble-shoot machining problems; evaluate job performance; maintain required tooling. Job requirements: Minimum of 2 years of Vo-Tech training in Machine Tool Technology; 3+ years of CNC Milling/Turning programming, set-up and operating experience; Knowledge of blueprint reading, GD&T; MasterCAM, SurfCAM experience; strong mechanical aptitude.
