WSU invites you to join our Community of Learners as an Assistant/Associate Professor of Nursing at our WSU-Rochester Center.  Duties associated with this position include instruction, scholarship, and service in our graduate nursing programs, particularly in the adult/gerontology acute care nurse practitioner program.  Additional duties include:  1) serving as a faculty member in the masters, post-graduate certificate, and doctoral programs with coordination of the adult/gerontology acute care nurse practitioner program; 2) teaching as well as within the nursing science core and direct care core courses across the graduate programs (traditional and online); and 3) advising students in the graduate programs in nursing. with service primarily in Rochester.  If you possess:  1) national board certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner; 2) have work experience as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner; 3) have a graduate degree in nursing (i.e., masters, PhD or DNP) from a CCNE or NLN accredited nursing program; and 4) are licensed as a registered nurse with current registration or eligible for licensure in MN and WI, we encourage you to apply.  For a complete position description and information on applying for this position, please go to  Review of applications beginning 3/27/2013.  Position available pending budgetary approval.
