Compliance & Reimbursement Coding Analyst I

Accurately assign ICD-9-CM diagnoses and CPT procedure codes for outpatient records utilizing 3M encoder/Grouper. Review medical necessity and appropriate charging assignment of certain service codes. Will write queries as needed for clarification.  


Minimum Quals: Technical or AA degree and CCS/CCS-P, CPC/CPC-H, CCA or graduate of a coding program. Must pass certification exam within 1 year of hire. Prefer RHIA or RHIT. Prefer 1-2 yrs hospital coding experience.
