Strom Engineering is seeking an experienced Maintenance / Facilities Technician. Job responsibilities include general building repair and maintenance to HVAC Systems, perform preventative maintenance to cooling units, air handlers, fan coil units, unit heaters, cooling towers, water and fuel oil pumps, exhaust fans, fire suppression systems, air compressors, water heaters, hot water and steam boilers, ice makers and some small refrigeration units. Assist in the operations of back-up generators. Requirements: Experience in building, pumps and piping systems, chiller plant cooling systems and associated pumps and piping. Must have or be able to obtain "Universal EPA Refrigeration Certification." Experience in building automation systems, Fire and Life Safety systems, chillers, fans, pumps, cooling towers, AHU's, water treatment testing of condenser water and closed loop systems a plus.
