Regulatory and Reimbursement Specialist

· Full-time - 80 hrs/pp; 8a-4:30p

· Day shift

Responsible for monitoring and reporting to administration regarding government rules and regulations that affect reimbursement to and reporting for CentraCare Health System entities. Plans, organizes, maintains and improves the systems necessary to capture data and assure that the Medicare cost report and other reports are accurate and in compliance with regulations.


Bachelor's degree in Accounting degree from an accredited college or university is required.


Five years experience in the health care field specializing in government reimbursement required. Work experience must include in depth knowledge of Medicare cost reporting software and experience with Medicare audits and appeals. Excellent communication skills necessary.


CPA certification or the FHFMA designation by Healthcare Financial Management desirable.
