Position Summary
Provides direction for the daily operation of designated Radiology sites. Assists in the planning, implementing, staffing, and directing of programs, procedures, and support personnel at the designated site. Provides general assistance and support to technical and clerical areas throughout the Radiology Department, contributing towards the timely and efficient operation of the organization.Major challenges to this position are to maintain quality patient services while adhering to defined budgets. Serves as School of Radiology student Supervisor, when students are present in clinical area.
Satisfactory completion of a formal radiologic technologist-training program specific to the modality. The program must be an American Medical Association approved school or other approved school based on modality requirements. Two or more years of experience. Previous supervisory experience preferred.
