WASHINGTON COUNTY HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY
The Washington County Housing and Redevelopment Authority (WCHRA) is accepting applications for a full-time Finance Director to perform complex professional work planning, coordinating, and maintaining all fiscal operations of the housing authority. Duties include overseeing the agency accounting operations and staff, performing fiscal forecasting, budgeting, asset management, investment and cash flow management, completing grant management reports, and develops and maintains prudent fiscal policies. Qualified candidates will hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, and/or related field with at least one year of supervisory responsibility and at least six years’ experience working in public finance or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Candidates will have comprehensive knowledge of policies regarding government financing tools, budgeting, practices and procedures; comprehensive skills in managing financial resources; and an ability to perform analytical and critical thinking of complex financial systems. A master’s degree and/or Certified Public Accountant registration are preferred. A valid driver’s license is required. An excellent benefit package is available; salary range is $80,903 to $104,086 per year. This position is an exempt position.
