Allina Commons is the Minneapolis-based headquarters of Allina Health, a not-for-profit health care organization serving patients and communities. Responsibilities

  • Process Advanced Care Planning documentation
  • Document/scanning/indexing, registration consent form management for Allina Health Home Health
  • Management of home care and hospice orders as needed
  • Process requests for releases of patient information as needed 

Education

  •  High School diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Some college preferred

Qualifications

Experience

  • 3 years of previous experience in Health Information/Legal setting working with confidential medical information in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent customer service skills, both verbal and written
  • Must be able to work under pressure while utilizing a variety of databases and electronic systems
  • Scanning experience a plus

Skills

  • Medical Terminology highly desired
  • Knowledge and competency with Microsoft Office suite

Pay,Benefits, & Work Schedule

  •  Full time position 40 hours per week
  • Day shifts (8:00 to 4:30 Mon-Fri)
  • Non-Contract
