Responsible for organizing, developing, and directing physical therapy services in accordance with the standards and practices of physical therapy, state and federal policies and procedures.
The Rehabilitative Therapy Unit assesses, evaluates and treats residents with mobility and self-care concerns, consults with and instructs staff in effective delivery of care, and provides the greatest independence possible for all residents through individually prescribed programs.
