Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive instructions from department Supervisor, technician or leads.
- Review parts, Work orders, and/or prints or other written instructions for detail of work to be performed.
- Perform assigned duties per documented procedures, work orders, prints and standard operating procedures (SOP?s), to include asset care, and preventative maintenance requirements.
- Ongoing responsibility for following appropriate procedures for building quality into products.
- Perform minor set ups on machines, equipment, or operations with assistance.
- Use utmost care and discretion in handling extremely fragile and costly product
- Properly document production data.
- Report problems to Supervisors.
- Follow company practices and procedures.
- Apply and use continuous improvement/lean concepts and practices, such as Rapid A3 problem solving, Hour by Hour boards and 5S methodologies.
- Timely and regular attendance required.
- Interact with all team members to maximize production and quality.
- Where required perform mandatory manufacturing stretches while working on targeted ergonomic jobs. Notify supervisor if an accommodation is required.
- Perform other assigned duties as specified by supervisor, technician, or leads.
Required Skills:
- Good hand and finger dexterity.
- Must meet vision standards and pass color test where required Achieve and maintain established quality, efficiency and work standards.
- Possess math skills in accordance to department requirements.
- Should have basic computer skills.
- Complete necessary check lists, and pass any required assessments and/or tests.
Schedule:
- 3 - 12 Hour Days
- 6am - 6pm or 6pm to 6am
- Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
