Job Description:
Indrotec Staffing and Workforce Management is now hiring for assemblers for an exciting new medical device company. This is a great opportunity to work with cutting edge technology in one of Minnesota's largest manufacturing industries. All positions will be on a contract to hire basis.


Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Working in a high level clean room environment assembling medical devices
  • Assembling new products from start to finish working with injection molding, welding tools, quality control & quality assurance
  • Follow Good Documentation Practices and Good Manufacturing Procedures
  • Have the ability to multi-task and function in a team or independent environment
  • Perform Staging and Sterilization operations, in addition to packaging and inspection with little supervision
  • Troubleshoot equipment problems as needed
  • Perform cycle counts, check system traceability and bar coding to ensure quality

Requirements:
  • Excellent mechanical dexterity, combined with a strong mechanical aptitude.
  • One year previous medical assembly experience
  • Minimum 2 years steady work history
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Basic computer skills
  • Pass a drug test
  • Pass a criminal background check
  • Pass all required assessments
  • Good manual dexterity; ability to perform multiple repetitive operations and rotate every 1 - 4 hours depending on assigned production line/area

Physical Requirements:
  • Able to stand at work station up to 10 hours/day
  • May require lifting/carrying 5 - 8 lbs. up to 8 hours/day, 8 - 20 lbs. occasionally, 30 lbs. 4 times/week
  • May require bending/stooping/kneeling 2 - 3 hours/day
  • May require reaching up to 8 hours/day
  • May require using step stool/climbing up to 8 hours/day
  • May require using microscope to perform fine close up work up to 8 hours/day
  • Must be able to work with chemicals and solvents with no known chemical allergies
  • Vision correctable to 20/20 under normal lighting
  • Able to wear clean room attire - gown, gloves, safety glasses
