Position Summary
Provides direction to the daily operation of a designated laboratory unit. Assists in the planning, implementing, staffing and directing of programs, procedures, systems, and support personnel within designated laboratory unit. Graduate from an accredited laboratory technician program resulting in an associate degree; or the advanced training and experience necessary to attain credentialing as a medical laboratory technician. Minimum of three years related experience in a hospital or clinical laboratory.

An Associate degree as a Medical Laboratory Technician is required. ASCP or NCA Certification as an MLT
The Shorewood Lab serves an average of 45 patients a day in a west metro clinic that provides Primary Care services. The Laboratory Staff works closely with the Clinic Care Teams to serve and meet the needs of a culturally and age diverse patient population in a rapidly growing community.
The Lab is staffed 5 days per week, Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
In addition to providing laboratory services, staff responsibilities include EKG, TVC testing, general and pediatric phlebotomy.
The clinic works as a team to provide an environment that creates a caring experience for all patients.
