Vaddio, a leading manufacture of broadcast video solutions for the Audio-Visual and Video Conferencing Industry is currently looking for a Engineering manager. We are looking for a seasoned Engineering Manager who can develop the engineering staff, ensure new designs will meet customer specifications and continually improve development processes.

JOB DESCRIPTION

This person will be responsible for managing a team of engineers who are responsible for the creation, development, design, and improvement of digital video products.

This position will provide you with the responsibilities of:

-Managing the engineering staff to ensure all projects are completed on time and within budget – removing obstacles
-Developing the engineering staff through coaching and mentoring
-Working closely with the customers, marketing, sales, and field staff to identify new product needs and improvements to existing products
-Prioritizing the efforts of the engineering staff
-Continually improving the processes used to create, test, and launch projects and ensuring communication between functions is happening
-Directing the benchmarking of products to ensure the company is positioned as the industry leader with technology, quality, and cost

JOB REQUIREMENTS

An excellent candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:
B.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Minimum of 5 years experience in an engineering management position
Previous experience designing electronic products based on FPGA, ASIC and embedded Linux development platforms
Excellent communication skills
Proven ability to build a strong team and increase the teams effectiveness
Previous experience working in a electronic manufacturing environment.
