SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER

The Health Care Compliance Association and Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics are non-profit membership associations based in Edina, MN. Each Association maintains groups on LinkedIn and Facebook, as well as Twitter. In addition, the associations have a proprietary social network, built on the HigherLogic platform, with approximately 4,000 combined members.

As the Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for making the HCCA and SCCE online presence the “go to” destination for members of the compliance community. This includes:

o Ensuring that the social network site and other Web 2.0 resources are kept up to date with the latest information including:
o News articles that you will source from our publications
o Documents of interest to the compliance community
o Announcements of upcoming event
o Acting as guide to high profile members of the compliance world who periodically appear for events on our social networks, by helping them understand how to use it
o Reaching out to other groups on LinkedIn, Twitter and elsewhere to strategically cross post our communications
o Artfully responding to inappropriate messages on the SCCE and HCCA social media sites
o Running special Twitter feeds and other efforts around the association’s major meetings.
o Other efforts as this new media continues to evolve

In addition, from time to time you will assist and provide back up for the webmaster for the HCCA and SCCE sites on select efforts, especially those designed to encourage communication between our web site and social media.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will have experience with various forms of social media both as a user and as an administrator of business-oriented presences. The candidate will have experience as well with basic HTML programming and working with third party vendors on devising solutions. He or she should also be comfortable working in a team-oriented setting with fluid lines of responsibility and fast-changing priorities. Please email your resume to: wilma.eisenman@hcca-info.org
