Position Summary
Anesthesia Technicians assist in the OR with the cleaning and stocking of supplies between surgical cases and at day's end. They also assist the anesthesiologists with setting up the equipment and positioning the patient for the insertion of central lines and blocks. There is potential for a lot of on-the-job exposure to the medical/nursing practice, for example: familiarization with drugs, equipment, supplies, sterile technique and etc. This position requires approximately 80% of work time spent standing. Candidates must have high school diploma or equivalent, be interested in working in a fast-paced surgery dept. 1-2 years of post-secondary education preferred. Previous related experience a plus!
