Job Description:
Positions available as assistant manager and sales positions in the Mall of America at an exiting new store called Happy Days. We sell memorabilia from the 50s and 60s, toys, games, and collectables. Employment may start immediately.
The duties could include but are not limited to:
*Opening and closing the store
*Daily reports
*Cash management
*Sales- directly helping customers
*Taking phone calls properly
*Learning to deal with problem situations
*Report management, organizing
*Cleaning
*Stocking
*Receiving and entering merchandise
*Computer basics
Additionally for Management:
*Training for responsibilities of managing a store
*Scheduling
*Ordering
Since this is a retail position, we work when it is busy, which includes weekends and holidays that the mall is open. In management, when an employee is absent, one of the management team will be called upon to cover the shift. Being a keyholder position, the assistant must be on time and must have the store open when the mall opens or closed when the mall closes, depending on the shift. Punctuality is important for all employees. Medical is available for full time employees after 3 or 6 months of employment. Part time position are available for sales only. Raises and advancements are given based on performance.
