PROJECT ENGINEER - CAE ANALYST
Donaldson Company Inc has an opportunity for a Project Engineer - CAE Analyst at our facility in Bloomington, Minnesota.
The primary duty of the Project Engineer - CAE Analyst is to establish technical engineering program objectives based on technical interpretation of market needs, preparation of engineering concept studies, feasibility trade-offs, probabilities of technical success, and preparation of technical engineering plans. The position requires Master's Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, or related field and two (2) years experience in engineering, or related occupation.
Must also have two (2) years of experience with all of the following, which may have been gained concurrently: 1) recommend, adapt, and apply existing company filtration products, and develop the design of new filtration products, to meet market needs appropriate to cost, design, production, installation, maintenance, and standardization requirements; (2) perform linear, non-linear and dynamic elastomer analyses supporting design, development and production qualification of new or updated products; 3) conducting engineering testing procedures for material characterization; 4) developing material models from test data for analysis using MATLAB; 5) creating models in Pro/e and Unigraphics for analysis in Abaqus/Ansys; and 6) performing analysis, testing prototypes, and suggesting engineering design modifications based on analysis done in Ansys/Abaqus.
