SR. SOFTWARE APPLICATIONS ENGINEER
Express Scripts, Inc. has multiple openings for the position of Sr. Software Applications Engineer in Bloomington, MN. Develop & modify computer applications for pharmacy benefit management programs by applying principles & techniques of computer science & engineering analysis. Analyze user needs & clarify functional application requirements to create software applications that optimize operational efficiency. Determine feasibility, costs, & formulate detailed program specifications using structured analysis & design methodology for applications using JAVA, J2EE, Servlet, JSP, Apache, EJB, Unix, Websphere, & Oracle.
Requires: Bachelor's degree in an engineering or computer science field or foreign equivalent degree as determined by written evaluation and 5 (five) years of progressive customer-focused post-baccalaureate experience as a software engineer, software programmer, software consultant, programmer analyst, systems analyst or closely related position involved in coding, analyzing, modifying and designing computer programs & applications using JAVA J2EE, Servlet, JSP, Apache, EJB, Unix, Websphere, & Oracle, & including at least one year specializing in software applications for health care benefits programs & in training/mentoring junior information technology team members.
