The Graduate Programs in Software (GPS) department at the University of St. Thomas invites applications for faculty positions to meet our tremendous growth in enrollment. Rank is open. The position will start in Fall 2017.
Successful candidates will contribute to scholarly teaching, research, student advising and growth of the department in the area of Software Engineering including (but not limited to) Information Technology, Information Sciences, ERP, Software Development and Testing, IT Security, Networking, and Software Architecture.
Founded in 1985, our Graduate Programs in Software is one of the largest, most-established, and highly diverse programs in the country. We have over 3,000 alumni from 39 states and 14 countries. Located in the School of Engineering on the St. Paul campus, Graduate Programs in Software offers four master’s degrees, a MS/MBA dual degree, five graduate certificate programs, and on-going professional development workshops and seminars. Over 400 students are currently pursuing graduate studies in our department.Qualifications:
PhD degree in software engineering, computer sciences, computer engineering, or closely related discipline is strongly preferred, exceptions can be made for candidates with distinguished record of accomplishments. Industry and teaching experience in these discipline areas is a plus.
