Ranked Faculty - Music and Theater
The Department of Music and Theater invites applicants for a three-year, rolling, full time, ranked faculty position, with potential for renewal, beginning in fall 2017, pending budget approval. Rank and salary commensurate with education and experience.
Responsibilities: Teaching (courses include Theater in the Twin Cities, Dance for Musical Theater, Survey of Musical Theater; additional courses within the major/minors possible) and directing and/or choreographing one to two of the department's main stage productions. Additionally, faculty will contribute to furthering the growth of the department, advancing the curriculum and engaging in scholarship and service per University guidelines. Department faculty are committed to educating students to lead and influence.
Requirements: Graduate degree in Theater (Master's required, MFA or Doctorate degree preferred); experience in dance/choreography, directing and classroom instruction.
