JOB SUMMARY:  This position is responsible for the supervision of all production and packaging of food items.  Will follow all GMP’s and USDA Regulations to ensure that products are safe and meet all of Sysco's quality guidelines.  ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Supervising the production staff to ensure a safe and productive work environment. • Establish the daily production schedule to ensure adequate product is being produced to fill orders. • Assist in managing the SSOP Program to make sure it is in compliance and is adequately documented. • Work with the Quality Control & Marketing and other management in resolving problems associated with products, service etc. • Continually look at opportunities to improve our production processes and make them more efficient and cost effective. • Perform standard administration responsibilities of a supervisor.  This includes hiring, training, reviews, and disciplining of staff when necessary. • Maintain a professional company image by: o High degree of personal organization. o Good communication skills as they relate to customers and employees. QUALIFICATIONS: Basic Qualifications: • 18+ years of age • Pass pre-employment testing (Drug Screening, Background Check). • Basic reading and writing skills.
