Target is strategically investing in their Supply Chain to enable industry leading capabilities.This role has a direct impact on how we deploy these capabilities and evaluate future investments in Global Logistics & Inventory Placement and Replenishment activities.
The Sr. Finance Manager is responsible for leading analytics across the Global Logistics & Inventory Placement and Replenishment team functions. This includes analysis on current operations, future technology advancements, capital investments, goals, and long rage plans.They will be a trusted advisor across all of Supply Chain and Finance with respect to the investments and capabilities required to move Target into the future Supply Chain it is building.

·Determine financial implications of operational decisions and influence or support as necessary.
·Influence spending decisions with enterprise analytics to ensure future increases/decrease in transportation is valuable to the organization.
·Perform key capital & expense investment analytics for new capabilities
·Use compelling facts and data to identify and address emerging performance trends.
·Understand objectives of Supply Chain leadership to influence and prioritize work that is most valuable to Target.
·Identify solutions to continuously gain leverage on fixed and variable expenses across Supply Chain.
·Partner with both Finance, Supply Chain, Stores and Merchandising to problem solve issues and educate on financial implications of decisions.
·4 year or equivalent college degree
·Masters degree or equivalent experience
·5+ years of experience working in Supply Chain, Logistics or Finance
·Strong problem solving and analytical skills
·Strong strategic and innovative thinking
