Adjunct Faculty - Liberal Arts and Sciences - Ethics Focus
St. Catherine University's College of Applied and Continuing Learning and Liberal Arts and Sciences department announces an opening on the University's Minneapolis campus for an adjunct faculty in applied ethics, beginning in Spring 2017, pending budget approval.
Responsibilities:The ideal candidates for the adjunct pool will have a strong desire to teach general education coursework to a diverse, adult student population pursuing certificate and associate degrees in healthcare and other professional programs.
Requirements: A minimum of a Master's degree in Bioethics or Philosophy is required. Preference will be given to candidates with experience teaching in multiple formats (online/hybrid/face-to-face) and with experience teaching critical skills such as reading, thinking and writing as part of a disciplinary course. Also preferred are candidates who have experience teaching to diverse, adult student populations.
