On-Call Nurse Practitioner
The University of St. Thomas invites applications for an On-Call Nurse Practitioner.
This position exists to provide direct patient care to UST students, faculty and staff in Health Services in compliance with all medical state licensure, federal mandates and institutional practice agreement standards. The Nurse Practitioner (NP) performs medical histories, physical examinations, order lab tests and x-ray exams, prescribe treatments & medications, assures adequate follow-up, obtains consultation or referrals as required, follow standardized charting procedures.
This on-call position does not have a set schedule and will be on an as needed basis. This position is not benefits eligible.Qualifications:
Qualifications: MS, MSN or MA with ANCC Nurse Practitioner Certification: Family or Adult. Current MN RN licensure. Current DEA. Minimum of 2 years clinic experience in either family practice, internal medicine or college health.
