Software Engineering - Faculty - Rank Open
The School of Engineering at the University of St. Thomas has openings for several engineering faculty positions in a range of disciplines to accommodate our continued growth. The positions are tenure track open rank including the possibility of Clinical (non-tenure track) appointment. This announcement specifically seeks outstanding candidates to Graduate Programs in Software Engineering (GPS) program. These positions will start in the Fall of 2017.

Candidates with excellence in all areas of Software Engineering and Data Science are desired while special consideration will be given to those with expertise in Information Technology, Information Sciences, ERP, Software Development and Testing, IT Security, Networking, Software Architecture, Big Data Architecture, Big Data Management, Data Analytics and Visualization, and Machine Learning. Successful candidates will be expected to develop and provide undergraduate and graduate courses in their area of expertise, establish and maintain active research programs, and provide service to the department, university, and profession.Qualifications:
A PhD in a relevant Computer Science or Engineering discipline is required for tenure track positions. Candidates which are ABD will be considered but must have clear evidence of completion by December 1, 2017. To be considered for Clinical faculty, candidates must have a masters’ degree in engineering or computer science field with significant industry experience. All applicants must have demonstrable skills necessary for excellence in teaching.
