Assistant Professor of Social Work
Winona State University invites you to join our Community of Learners as an Assistant Professor of Social Work. This probationary/tenure-track appointment will start on August 14, 2017 with teaching responsibilities at both the Winona and Rochester campuses.
As a faculty member, you will be responsible for (1) teaching generalist social work BSW core classes including, but not limited to, Policy, Practice, Research, Diversity, and Field; (2) engaging in scholarly research; (3) contributing to student learning, advising and development; and (4) working as a team member on program assessment, CSWE accreditation, practice agencies, curriculum design, and student activities. Minimum qualifications for this position include: (1) an earned Doctorate, or actively enrolled in a doctoral program in social work or related field, completed within the end of the first year of appointment; (2) a MSW from an accredited CSWE school of social work or an approved international equivalent which would have to be verified by CSWE; and (3) a minimum of 2 years post MSW practice experience.
